The founding of Fronberg Guss GmbH in Schwandorf, Bavaria goes back to 1449 and thus three years before the birth of Leonardo da Vinci. In the 17th and 18th centuries there was a greater concentration on the production of bar iron. At the beginning of the 20th century, the company introduced machine molding. Following extensive renovations in the second half of the last century, we have increasingly concentrated on the production of high-quality cast iron components using the hand-molding process. Since 2005 the plant has been a subsidiary of Gienanth GmbH.
